Did you know?
The Northern
Bottlenose Whale is endemic to the North Atlantic Ocean and occurs
in cool and subarctic waters. It is found in the Davis Strait,
the Labrador Sea, the Greenland Sea and the Barents Sea. They
prefer deep water.
There are many ways to tell the difference of males and females
besides checking the underside. The males are normally a dark
gray or black, and the females and calves are a white or very
light gray.
